9pm: twilight - no longer wet and stormy

On a wet and miserable day, with strong winds, squalls and generally crappy weather, I spent the day working on various projects. The other two Ottawackers went for a hair appointment: both came back looking resplendent. My own hair, which has in the past months been reduced from a lank, lengthy mess to lank, shorter mess, can wait. Not for much longer though.
 
In the evening, we watched the Canada – Chile game, which was another 0-0 draw, but was enough to get Canada through to the knock-out round. It’s moments like these that make me hope Jonathan David does sign for Manchester Untidied. Seriously though, can’t have an ex-Ottawa Internationals’ player sullying our reputation - he's supposed to go up in the world!
