View from the Grand Staircase

On the way to the Gilbert Scott Restaurant in the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, you have to pass the Grand Staircase.

I have to say that it was impressive, but it is also a little "over the top" but does show the style of how things were for the Victorian traveller.
