Mummified Mouse

Sorry for the back blip but I have just spent over 3 days tackling the garage removing almost the entire contents and repacking about 30% of it and binning the rest or sorting out for the local hospice shop. In the furthest corner were some moving blankets and when I was sorting them out one was less loose than the others - I gingerly opened it up slowly and first thought what I saw was a baby bird that had become trapped in the blankie - then I realised that there was a tail and that it was a victim of the poison that had been left in the opposite corner for my winter visitors that like the warmth of the garage - I know it is grusome but it was almost perfectly preserved and was probably there undisturbed for months - the damaged areas that you can see were only caused by me disturbing the whole thing in moving it outside where I eventually burned it in the incinarator today.
