In what I hope is a sustainable change of mode of operation I have successfully reformatted the camera two days running after not recording anything of interest and harvested the only two bits of use/interest from today's footage on the day itself.

For some reason the taxi visible through the gap between the pedestrians was Glaswegian, with a Glaswegian taxi license plate and a Glaswegian taxi firm's number on the back and on a wee flag on the roof. Hopefully it was just out for a drive and not transporting anyone who would be charged an entire M8's worth of fare.
