Lac

Last night the skies opened after it got dark, when we were safely inside, and it poured down and lightning flashed. We couldn't see the forks but the whole sky was lit up, again, and again, and again. Not sure how long it went on as we eventually went to sleep in the middle of it all.

Today, it was warm, but not hot, and grey until the evening. We took the train in the late morning and got to Annecy in time for lunch and an explore. It's nearly H's bedtime now and sun is finally out. The streets are quieter but there are plenty of people out and about, some strolling and eating ice creams as we just did.
