Forest Cycle
Midday we set off from home with our neighbours and friends, Archie and Jayne, on our cycles making our way to The Doward Hill Fort (nr Symonds Yat, Herefordshire, UK) and down to the River Wye. The weather was a bit overcast with a slight chill so it was good we were all dressed appropriately.
We stopped at the Forest Holidays log cabin cafe at Christchurch, nr Coleford in The Forest of Dean (Gloucestershire) for our coffee and chat.
A good hour later we did the long route home through Staunton, nr Coleford (Glocs) where I took the photo' of All Saints Church (1200AD) at a distance over a farmfield hedge just as we entered Staunton.
After 27.2 miles we arrived home just before 5pm for the England v Slovakia Euro Match which England eventually won 2-1 after thirty minutes extra time. England were lucky! Nice to watch the match with Archie and the wives in the other room!
