Hot, humid and sultry today. Even the shower in the early morning didn't do anything to clear the air. Still grey it was warm enough this afternoon to steal a half hour on the seashore. I warmed my toes in the sand as Em busied herself with collecting 'gems' and precious things from the flotsam and jetsam. I got one shot of this, Em too impatient to collect more to pose for me.

The memory of these times I know I'll treasure when we move back to the UK next summer. Such a shame Emily won't remember much of it.
