Spotted Towhee

My grids are popular with all the birds. This Spotted Towhee had taken a bath and groomed himself in the sun.

Ellie came over this afternoon. We played school, read books, and made dinner together. Ellie found a recipe she wanted in her Children's Health Meals book...it was for Vegetable and meat stew. She peeled the carrots, and picked out the celery to use and dumped all the chopped vegetables, white beans, and chicken.into the pan. It was delicious. Now I need to get her to bed so we can read a book before falling asleep.
