Alteration day!

I have many t-shirts in a drawer which I rarely wear. I realised it's because they are all so long and that's why I've kept opting to wear the older ones which are all much shorter. Today I set to with the machine and shortened 9 of them. It's the first time I've used the twin needle on my new machine.  After a bit of fiddling with the tension and stitch length it seemed to make not a bad job of the task! I was quite lazy, just measured down the side seams and then pinned a large hem which I cut off once I'd sewn it round. I'm quite happy with the results and feel I have a whole new wardrobe! Sometimes the little things bring us joy.
