A and A were coming for lunch (from Cambridge). They were due to arrive at 12.30 but finally arrived at 14.10 due to encountering three road accidents on the way . It was good to see them - and Fritz the dog. A now has two very arthritic knees and can only walk very slowly and with a stick - sad to see. She has an appointment with a consultant at the hospital at the end of July and is hoping that she will have the first knee replaced in early autumn. They had been intending to get home for the England game on TV but didn’t leave until il 5pm. Forgot about photos so here are the berries we had for dessert.
