Dentist this morning…

Definitely not my favourite place to go even though I certainly didn’t have anything like an implant! But I did have a scale and polish and filling without any numbing injections. That’s a first for me; that’s for sure!!
Dentists are certainly a lot less scary than they used to and apart from the odd twinge when below the gum level the worst thing was fighting the swallow reflex. In fact it reminded me of an endoscopy though I thought it best not to say that to the dentist!
So a clean bill of dental health though my credit card took a bit of a bashing!
And 60+ has just sparked my memory of taking this pic. Just as I snapped I realised the receptionist looked up and saw me. So when I went in I said that I really hadn’t lost the plot but wanted a pic of what I was doing today and being brave enough to go to the dentist was worthy of recording. I think that convinced her I had lost the plot! Maybe I should have just kept quiet…
