Miraculous bacon sandwich

Well on Friday I never imagined she would be eating a bacon sarnie! I picked one up on the way to give it a go and she actually ate some of it. I took the chance to grab a photo afterwards. She is looking and sounding so much better than when she arrived here and staff are already talking about getting her into the day room to socialise.

I’m headed back north shortly, feeling much more optimistic. The staff here are absolutely wonderful - caring, kind, compassionate and patient. Also hugely undervalued, and underpaid too.
