Black-headed Gull

A miserable morning but I was still determined to have a walk albeit a shorter on than usual.

The Heritage Park was almost deserted apart from a couple of kayaks on the loch. Not a Greylag goose to be seen anywhere but the Canada geese had gathered en masse on the path at the far side of the water.

I was hoping to see a Black-headed Gull and there was one just standing on the grass ...... just as I was preparing to take my shot the gull spread its wings and took off.
