Mono Monday - Superstition

My Mom had a superstition for any occasion.  One of her favourites was "Never put shoes on a table, that will bring you bad luck."

That is the superstition I have tried to illustrate in this blip.  I must admit I have photographed these shoes on a shelf not a table.  Not wanting to  tempt fate. I can hear her now, "you hadn't better be putting those shoes on the table "
