Carlisle

An early departure from Scotland as the weather was just too awful to do anything outdoors. A stop for refreshments in Carlisle, never visited before, and a brief walk  down Castle Street where there's a really lovely cafe at the back of the book shop, Bookcase. Worth visiting for the books, knowledgeable staff in the book shop and first rate service and food in the cafe. The teapot was good for EIGHT cups of tea!
