……………………..walk under ladders, unless you’re perhaps a cat with nine lives!

Zumba, cuppa and a walk along the prom this morning, missing most of the showers. Tidied and swept up around my pots in front of the house as something is digging in them…not sure whether it’s birds, cats or dogs! A bit of domestic goddessing this afternoon before sorting the contents of a large wooden hamper box in my hallway, then turning it into a toy box. Did a load of recycling and emptied the bins…to find whatever is making a mess with my pots had been at it again! I can’t win with that or the car.

My father was a very superstitious man…we weren’t allowed to cross on the stairs or cross our knives and forks, he hated Friday the 13ths and never walked under a ladder despite being a fireman for over forty years!
