A New Tradition

New traditions are fun. I can't believe that in all if the times I gave been only a few blocks from here, I have never had Italian Ice at Joey's!

The flavor I chose was Black Raspberry. My brother got a mix of Black Raspberry Ice and Gelato. (Sort of made me jealous.)

The best part about tonight was meeting up with my cousin and my nephew. Very cool, as they did not know I have been visiting on my own here in Upstate NY.

At least I can now insist that my family visit Joey's whenever we are all here. Such a great place , and a throwback to the old days of walk up ice shops with high quality, homemade desserts.

For that, Joey's gets a 10!
