Balloon Send Off

We enjoyed a final Coffee and Croissant breakfast at our local cafe in Montsoreau. I took some Feta Cheese with me, which went perfectly with my croissant.

As we were packing up, I saw this sight of giant air balloons floating past. This seemed like a fun send off!

Then we had a long drive to Calais (Thanks David!) and got there in time to set up our pitch at “Camping Calais Plage” before heading out on a short walk to a local gourmet restaurant “Aquar’aile” with spectacular views over the English Channel (or La Manche in French). We indulged in some extraordinary French food and a delicious Condrieu White Wine courtesy of Kevin. What a way to celebrate our French odyssey!
