The Generous Gardener

Spent a happy hour or so this evening deadheading and tying in this hugely vigorous rose. I’m aiming to get it covering an area of the wall with these beautiful delicate blooms but despite my hard pruning and training efforts in February it just prolifically blooms all over the place. I’ve cut off huge sprays to take out some of the weight which will form part of a bouquet for a friend who has invited us to lunch tomorrow. I know she will be delighted with Generous Gardener.
