Mariposa lily

I went for a walk in our nearby open space and was happy to see so many flowers in bloom. This one is also known as Butterfly tulip, and I can just see the shape of a butterfly in the middle. But another name is Cat's ears and I think the yellow fringe around the "butterfly" looks very much like the hairy fringe in a cat's ear.
