Today was a sad day for our family. My dear sister-in-law died very suddenly and unexpectedly last Tuesday afternoon and today was her funeral, and a celebration of her life. Jenni had made a significant difference in many people’s lives, including her four boys, and also my brother-in-law’s (my husband’s brother). The funeral was in Taumarunui in the central North Island and apparently chapel was full to overflowing. My son & daughter-in-law from Auckland travelled down this morning and FaceTimed my daughter and me, so we were with them for every moment too.

The suddenness of it has hit everyone and this last week has been challenging for us all, and particularly hard for my brother-in-law, Murray.
I think that having my son there this morning was a great comfort for him.
