(183) On Track
The Cinder Track is a walking/cycling route between Whitby and Scarborough which was laid on the former trackbed of the single track railway between the two towns. Over the past couple of years the surface of the track has been quite badly damaged by excessive rainfall causing washout of the top layers and creating some pretty badly pot-holed and rutted sections. With 38/42mm tyres the Creo copes well with the surface but care is still required on descents where it's hard to see the potholes in amongst the sunlight/shadow areas. The blip view is from the climb up to Ravenscar, looking back towards the village of Robin Hood's Bay.
