Mascots?

This is the other bit of fancy architecture I spotted recently. A dragon and maybe some mythical birds but I am not sure what they are - maybe gryphons or wyverns. They are on a building that is still a bank branch. (No it's not! It's a men's clothes shop and at one time it was part of the Electric Board shop. I don't think it ever even was a bank!)

Before I went out to take this photo and get a battery in Brian's watch there was a minor drama caused by my being unable to locate my door keys. They were not in their official spot on the back room cupboard, nor in the other locations I occasionally dump them in. Not in the pockets of the hoody I had on the last time I used them either. 

Whilst Brian was checking the car and I was looking upstairs I remembered that Minstrel had had a Mad Moggy session last night involving some zoomies, a lot of meowing and time up on top of the back room door. He had accessed the door via the back room cupboard, and had knocked the keys on to the floor!

Panic over!

Time to go do a bit more shopping now - this time at Morrison's. I also have to collect post from the sorting office which has been underpaid. The last time this happened before an election it turned out to be an actual letter from the Conservative party, trying to persuade me to vote for them. Even less effective than it would have been had they bothered to put a stamp on it! So I will ask to see it before I pay I think!
