A day in the garden, trimming shrubs and relocating plants as we move closer to the garden becoming a bit of a building site! As ever, accompanied by our trusty comrade in his russet summer garb.
Watching the inevitable passage of Hurricane Beryl; the earliest ever category 5 hurricane. As climate chaos progresses it's likely this record will be beaten again and again. I remember as a school kid in the seventies, our physics teacher talked about our great grandchildren living this, but it's us!
Let's hope the carnage isn't as bad as predicted. And as those hurricanes over there turn to gales and storms over here, let's hope hard. Or we might soon be digging for bugs, like our scarlet scamp...
