Bright splash…

of Poppies on a dullish day! They were full of Starlings and Goldfinches too! A local guy told me that this is the site excavated by the archaeologists searching for the original village. Since then the poppies have appeared but never such a good display till this year. Easter Ross is visible across the Firth in the background.
