Grey Heron

There were only two heron today, the little female (pictured) and the adult male. I got the spectacular sight of the little female flying down the length of the loch to meet me. The adult male flew from the dovecote. No doubt the others will be back tomorrow. The coots were out in force and followed me round the loch.
