We stopped for lunch in the centre of France, and I was slightly surprised to see this French registered iconic British sports car in the rest area. I asked the French owner if I could take a photo and he told me he takes it to England every time it needs a service. He then also told me that he has an Austin Healey and an Aston Martin V8. Very nice! I started with a Ford Anglia that cost me £25 and then drove various old bangers until I settled on 2CVs, then other Citroens, then Audi TTs and finally Jaguars. Now I am quite happy with my Renault Clio on the narrow mountain roads.
