Priceless Day

Martin and I had a lovely day at the Antiques Roadshow which was being filmed at Thirlstane Castle, Lauder in the Scottish Borders. 

We had to queue a wee while for my football memorabilia to be assessed by expert Raj Bishram, but it’s all part of the experience and Raj decided it was worthy to be filmed for the show. Fingers crossed I won’t end up on the cutting room floor, but if not, you will see me on the next series in the autumn time. 

It was great to see how they film the show and lovely to meet Fiona again, who I first met in New Lanark eight years ago. She is still as friendly as ever and still talks to every dog she meets (she has an Irish terrier). 

All in all a fun day, and Thirlstane Castle is beautiful.
