A cardinal visit
After I came home this afternoon the cardinal was on the deck getting some of the seeds that were dropped by the squirrels and the blue jays. There are some safflower seeds in the mix and he seems to look for them. The Mrs stopped by too, but she didn't stay long enough for a photo.
One of my long term clients was laid off from his job in January, and he notified me in the early spring that he would not be able to afford me because he was not working. He emailed me last week to say he had started a new job in May, and could I put him back on the regular rotation. I started there in 2015, so I was happy to add him back.
Another long term customer notified me on the weekend that she no longer wants my services because I left the students at her place on their own last week. I rarely leave the students on their own at her place, I think this was the first time I did that. I told the customer that I needed to go pick up some sod for another job. I wasn't happy with her last year when she hired another company to make some changes in her garden, and she never asked me if I would be interested in doing it. I felt that all I was good for was weeding.
One place I was at today, she is quite happy to see the students working. And she made Albert happy, lol, She called him a 'big, burly guy'. She said she loved to see a big, burly guy go soft over a puppy. Albert loves dogs, and she had a puppy. As soon as he seen it, he had to hold it.
