Beehappy

Pollen counts are expected to be high tomorrow... which should make the bees happy. The veronica and catmint have been hosting honey bees for a few weeks, but today there were a couple of common bumbles as well. Unfortunately I will have to start deadheading both .Equally unfortunate is it is the start of  Japanese beetle season , and damage to leaves has been seen for at least a week before the actual bugs were spotted. I sprayed all of my roses with Neem oil.
Far more distressing are the truly horrible and clearly biased opinions and rulings coming out of the Supreme Court. Heavy doses of chocolate are required to get less frantic over this last one.
