After an unexpected start to the week and a delayed departure for two days in the office …decided I deserved a breakfast deal at the station.

Raining of course outside…

On the weekend we had water coming through the upstairs hallway ceiling not the restful Saturday evening planned…

So water mains off, water tank in the attic drained, hot water cylinder drained, no mains water, no toilet flushing and no central heating from Saturday evening. A new (huge) water tank arrived Tuesday afternoon and as of last night we appear to be back online and back to normal.

Just pleased it happened when I was at home, arguably lucky …timing is everything in comedy the comedy that passes for modern day life.

Might be home on time tomorrow night to vote …that really is pure comedy in the UK, god knows what will happen in the elections hopefully a hung parliament so they can’t do any further damage for a while.
