Crinkle Crags

A short walk through Great Langdale after lunch at Brambles Cafe above Langdale CO-OP in Chapel Stile

Redstart at the farm and plenty of Swallows and House Martins at all the farms in the valley. Only one butterfly a very worn looking Meadow Brown and a single Silver Y moth seen !

My morning walk around Elterwater village and past Baysbrown Campsite revealed not a single butterfly.

Swifts over our lodge in the evening and very late sparring Peregrine falcons crossed the valley- obvious size difference probably means Female and Juvenile- plenty of calls heard on my morning walk
