Black Panther

This is the 1956/7 P&M Panther M100 600cc single. I was asked to take a look at it for its owner as he couldn't start it , and it was leaking petrol badly.  The wiring was in a very bad condition, even had some household wire attached. The carburetor was junk, how it ever worked beats me. The petrol taps didn't work and leaked badly.
The bike you now see has a new carburetor and air filter, plus new taps and piping.   The electrics have had a lot of new wiring , and the charging system now works . The magneto has been modified in the past to run with a 12 volt coil ignition .  The bike now start easily , but like all old single cylinder motorcycles there's a strict starting procedure to follow.
