Hound Tor

It's not been a bad day, a little overcast in the morning but it brightened a bit this afternoon. There were some nice clouds so I thought I'd take advantage of the up on the moor. As I drove up I realised I was driving into them as my windscreen wipers came on.

It's Wide on Wednesday and the challenge is hosted by Niceoiseannie and the theme is 'Shadows'. I'm struggling a bit for shadows but of these pancake rocks do emphasize the shadows that define their shape. One of the things I like is the little yellow tormentil flowers that brighten the grassy areas.
