Foxgloves

A trip to the Botanic Gardens in St Andrews to renew our annual passes and then have a walk down to the lily pond. Everything was so overgrown that it was hard to get near the edge of the pond. Even in the rock garden the plant growth had just exploded leaving many of the wee gems completely smothered ..... much work needing to be done if the gardens are going to revert to their former beauty.

Home in the early afternoon and settled down to watch Wimbledon. Now in the early evening we do have blue skies but it is very windy.

PS .... the foxglove wasn't growing horizontally, the stem had either been blown over or someone had given it a push!
