Leaders of the pack

Not the leaders of the race, as I didn't get such a good picture of them, but these are the leaders of the main group or peloton. Of the Tour de France of course.

We got our rental car today and we immediately drove off to a fairly random village on the route. Luckily, the village had organised a full-on fête with barbeque, drinks, a brass band and lots of places to sit out in the shade. We had a very pleasant afternoon, and caught some goodies thrown from the caravan of vehicles that precede the race, before the cyclists finally whizzed through to much excitement.
