Technological Archeology

So we are walking along in the hot, hot sun.

The buzz was terrific. Bees in every flower. Dragonflies, Damsels and butterflies..

Then on a dusty grey track I came across this fossil of an earlier civilization.

Left, probably, by another fly. The fly-tipper. The television picked up, long ago by the tireless and under-appreciated council workers. The remote settled into the mud of a primeval sea.

If humankind lasts. I wonder what archaeologists will make of the artefacts we carelessly discard and land-fill?
