After a heavy shower

It's been grey all day, and not very warm, either. Late afternoon, there was a short, sharp downpour, after which the sun came out. And immediately this woodpecker turned up on the nuts! A great tit and then a goldfinch joined it briefly but this was the best catch I achieved through the window.

Was at the hairdresser's bright and early this morning for a long overdue cut. At my request they only gave me one shampoo and conditioner for the sake of my sore shoulder. It survived and it's great to have my shaggy mop sorted.

Mrs B ferried me and we went on to Downtown afterwards for a little birthday shopping and lunch with the young master, too. Very pleasant.

Slept when I got home again. So no change there, then!!
