We had a lovely day in Southwold and the kids joined us for some fun on the pier. It’s a shame the site doesn’t allow for videos because there’s a very funny one of Tim ‘walking a dog’ - see extra. We also spent a bit of time in a delightful stationery shop - see extra.

We joined the kids again a bit more inland for a charity auction at the local pub and I was introduced to a couple who are friends of Molly. They spent six years living in Canada and really loved it, including an epic trip across the country. Despite their English accents, I felt like I was talking with fellow Canucks; so apt the day before Canada Day. It did my heart good to speak with people with a common understanding.
