The flight was uneventful, even if quite delayed. A lovely touch on British Airways is the tea and scones with clotted cream and jam that are served towards the end of the flight!

Daniel picked us up from the airport, so it was nice to see him on his birthday, even though I wasn’t feeling very sociable - we are going out to celebrate properly at the weekend.

My body clock says it's 3am so I've just unpacked a little, showered and now I'm ready for bed! I will sleep soundly despite the customary loud revving motor bikes or cars down below!
