A historic moment...
This is Pete Sampras rising out of his seat at the moment his record of 14 Grand Slam titles was beaten by Roger Federer at Wimbledon today. I spent over four hours glued to the telly for the final between him and Andy Roddick. Roddick played well enough to win a few times over but Federer did too and took the crucial points. I wept for Roddick. I'm such a softy that I always cry for the loser!
That's my dose of sport over for this year. The tennis is the only one that interests me and I only see Wimbledon. Thanks to the lovely man for humouring me and allowing me to monopolise his living room for much of the day although he's not interested in tennis.
Well that's another weekend nearly over. I hope yours has been as nice as mine.
