Aira Beck
LARGE - of course (it's the only way to see it sharp)!
We drove over to Aira Force (quieter than we expected) and walked up Aira Beck. Glad I took my tripod, as I was able to shoot the cascades above the force with a little stopper, and managed to get a lull in the wind, so the leaves above the cascades were sharp.
As we were so near to Gowbarrow fell, we thought it would be rude not to walk up and over it. It really is a lovely walk, with minimal effort, offering fabulous views over Ullswater, when the weather is better. It was a bit drizzly and windy on the top, but that seems the norm for the summer of '24.
