Presidents day

Feeling a bit brighter with just a few sneezes. Tested for covid - negative - as didn't want to take anything like that into a marquee of older people. MrK gets invited most years by the president of the club to join in a meal and afternoon tea. It's very special I think, he is being thanked for his work in this way. Gorgeous 3 course meal with wine and a few old faces from the past. We had Napes on our table, who was a player when FK was born, and his partner Claire, who now have 2 children of there own. MrK was consulting Groundsman at Newlands SA when Napes was out there as a 19year old on his first tour. They spent quite a bit of time together then, so lovely to catch up. 
I came back home for the loo after dinner and to wake FK who was still asleep at 3pm!!
