It's Amadeus' 4th birthday today. He was the first dog we got, but back then we also had two bunnies. They were called Viivi and Wagner according to famous Finnish comic book characters. My Aunt always remembered that Wagner was called Mozart so we named Amadeus after Mozart. We just couldn't name a spaniel Wolfgang. Now the bunnies are enjoying nicer dandelion leaves somewhere else and we have three dogs.

Today Buddha, the puppy that had surgery last Thursday, has been intolerable. We're supposed to keep him relaxed and peaceful, but he's just so full of energy! He's supposed to be on dog-sick-leave and rest so the stitches don't break. One more week to go...
