a day in the park

We went up to London for one of the summer in the park concerts. Last year it was Bruce Springsteen and in 2019 it was Bob Dylan and Neil Young.

Today didn’t feature such illustrous greats unless you are a huge fan of Kings of Leon that is.

They were good although they began to sound very samey the more the show went on. We were really there to see Paulo Nutini who we had seen at Latitude some years ago. Disappointingly he was only on stage for an hour. He was very good but would have been better if he hadn’t done the long improvisation music sections on three or four songs. He could have squeezed in three or four more songs in if he hadn’t done that.

Still, we had another great day out in Hyde Pk (enjoyed the Vaccines to)
