Batch cooking

Enjoyed a nice long lie this morning as Phin was in daycare since yesterday and we weren’t planning to get him back until this evening.

A nice treat of bacon and eggs for breakfast before I spent the morning filling the washing machine, hanging stuff on the line and refilling the machine. It was a day of sunshine and showers and quite windy so everything is mostly dry tonight.

Supermarket run after lunch to pick up ingredients to make a bolognese sauce. Plenty for dinner with spaghetti and 5 dishes filled and ready for the freezer when they cool down.

We sent back our postal votes a couple of weeks ago but I’m planning to sit up tonight as this ejection feels too pivotal to miss.
