Polling station

The polling cards said the station was the parish church. As I suspected it was actually in the church hall. I turned up too early at the dentist and she very politely said “You’re very early, Eunice”. I thought my appointment was 9.50 and it was 11.20. I had time to buy a paper, go and vote and have a cup of tea before I went back.
