Unusual colour

Cafe is off for a few weeks so I could have a more relaxed Thursday.
I cycled to the Health Walk, tailwind there but harder work coming back (plus a heavy shower), and I was aware I haven't been on the bike much recently. It was pleasant for walking - as long as you weren't dressed for summer - and we were able to have our cuppa in a sheltered spot in the sun so it didn't feel too cold. I think the early morning temp was in single figures.
I spotted the rose in the garden at the end of the walk.
I did a small amount of gardening to fill up the brown bins before they were emptied, there are always shrubs needing to be cut back.
Then I went out to visit a friend, went to vote when I got back and that was the main part of the day gone.
