Classic Pickup
This weekend we went to PEI to visit the world travelling nurse's family. Her pops is under the weather and is having a short stint in the hospital (Update: he's home and in fine health).
Not one for hospitals, I decided to take in the PEI Street Rod Association's annual show. This is a two day event, and also one of the reasons why we came to the island. So perish the thoughts that I'm an unfeeling bastard!!!
This truck caught my eye, partially because of the restoration, but also because of the little details. The image on the right side is of the pull that is used to open the hood. Things used to be so simple, and yet so artistic at the same time. Detroit, or wherever the majority of modern day jalopies are made, needs to take a step back and reconsider how things used to be.
