Beech nuts

The tree was full of them.

A very windy day, A walk in the woods first it was really The Wild Wood today, then I called at the garden centre they have lots of pot plants for sale at £2.99 each, I got 2 Dalia plants and 2 Osteospermum  I could have bought loads more but the pocket only has so much to spare on such things. They are lovely plants full of buds and just a few flowers out.

Watched some Wimbledon then went in search of larger pots for the plants, washed them out, I haven't got any compost left so will have to wait till I go to the farm shop. more expense. I did some pruning and weeding. Then tea time.

Later watched an old Last of the Summer Wine and Blue Bloods.
